A twitch of a long ear amongst the tall dewy grasses, dawn chasing away the soft silvery orb of the moon. The otherworldly hare has long been a symbol of women, fertility, spring, and rebirth. In many tales, the hare is a witch’s familiar, in some, the subtle shapeshifter herself. From ancient times the elusive hare has been a portent of both good tidings and ill, a fleet-footed messenger between worlds.
Notes: foliage, dewy grass, wild mint, freesia, iris, black tea leaves, pine sap, musk
